Very true, Neeraja. It is always important to look at the whole situation from different angles. Often the solution may be that you need to take some kind of action to improve your skills, or you may need to recognise that it is just not something that you are capable of doing. The key here is not to blame yourself, but to seek a positive way to solve the problem.

Yes I perfectly agree. There is one another aspect we need to realize why we have not been able to achieve. Were the targets so high that we were unable to reach or was it just inability.

Glad this resonated with you, Lisa. I know a lot of people also like “G & Ts”

Isn’t interesting how tough we find it to give ourselves permission to feel bad or how we find it hard to be nice to ourselves, but bend over backwards for others? I often think, too, about the negative things I say to myself and then put them into perspective by imagining someone else saying them to me. I know I wouldn’t take that kind of bashing from someone else, so why do I take it from me? Certainly makes you think long and hard about it.
