Building Communities Through Social Media: Wired Woman Event
I’m really excited about an upcoming Wired Woman event. As you know, I am the Marketing Co-Ordinator for Wired Woman Vancouver and so here I am, marketing 
Our event focuses on the idea of community in the online world and what that means. We’re having five exciting speakers and in a round table discussion, we are going to hear from them about what community means to them, and how they build, manage, and engage community through social media. There will be plenty of opportunity to add your input, ask questions and learn.
The five excellent speakers are:
- Briana Tomkinson/ Tenth to the Fraser and Fjord West
- Carisa Miklusak / SoMedios
- Chris Breikss / 6S Marketing
- Mhairi Petrovic / Out-Smarts Marketing (a Meerkat partner)
- Sibylle Tinsel / Club Fat Ass
It is going to be a fantastic event, with a very reasonable price tag for Wired Woman members (and WW membership if free) and non-members too. We’re very lucky that UBC Robson Square in downtown Vancouver is helping sponsor the event by hosting so see there on:
